Hello,

I landed in Canada as a PR in Sept 3. Since I work in US, I left canada after two days. I want to apply for the PR card. Can I do it using my friends canada address while I am in US?

Also, How long I can stay outside canada after my first landing?

Thanks

Yes, you can give a friend's address--you can use CIC's website to do so. You need to be in Canada 2 years out of 5 years to maintain residency.

If 6 months have passed, he will have to pick up the PR card in person.
