PR on FSW. Labour jobs available.

Dear All,

I landed in Toronto in August 2011 as PR under Federal Skilled Worker. Since than looking for work in my own profession. It is not easy to find jobs here, one must have Canadian experience. I can find only labour jobs here for now.  I would love to work in my own field, but It is all about Canadian experience and networking.

Is it ok to work in labour job leaving your profession or one can only work in his own field or specialization. Are there any restrictions once you land as PR under FSW category ?

there are no restrictions whatsoever. you can work in any job you are selected for if its a unregulated one. for regulated jobs you need to acquire license going through their process. you can google regulated jobs in google to find out more....dont waste time waiting for a job in your field until n unless you are not really worried about money factor..otherwise start earning and save your funds while looking for a better employment oppurtunity.
