Sorry to hear for your rejection Sad. Could you please detail your timelines, VO & when you received rejection. As i have heard all the docs you have sent along with file & photographs are returned but it takes certain amount of time to reach you. I mean a couple of months or may be more. Senior members can throw light.

Also if you can share your NOC & why you were not able to produce employer refferal letter.

Wishing you the best for re-applying & getting through to get your Visa.

To get new PCCs is not an issue. But still it's not even a necessity. You can send your application without them. You will submit them in the future when requested by the VO.

As for the IELTS take a look at the new checklist:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

"Applicants are permitted to submit a copy of their language test results with a new application only if the original test results were submitted with a previous Federal Skilled Worker application on or after June 26, 2010 and were not returned to the applicant. All copies of language test results must be accompanied by the photocopy of the refusal letter from CIC and an explanation that CIC retained and currently holds the original"

So don't wait for anything. Get all the rest of documents straight, make sure that you have all that is required (don't even think that maybe one document is not as important to submit- it is!) and apply immediately.

Wish you good luck! Smiley

Now my wife secured the required employer referral letter with roles and responsbilities as demanded by the authorities, and Applying for PCC is not a problem but, securing my employer referral letter again is defintely a problem as I submitted 2 of my current and previous employers referral letters originals which I am not sure if I can secure them again for reapplying second time. Can I attach a covering letter stating that we submitted them earlier with the file ref no??

It's been 10 weeks that I have been waiting for my documents now. Again my only worry is the employer referral letters of my current and previous employer (I am a dependant here in the application) that I am worried about.

Pl advice.

Have you found a way around the IELTS score card yet? You can always request the BC for additional score card, of course at an additional cost, to be sent to organizations of your choice. Suppose you give address of both yours and your spouse's office address (You will have 2 score card). They may not issue one directly to you. As Thalia as advised, you can also have a copy of IELTS to re apply if you have not recd back your docs from CIO.

The referral letters from PA carries the most importance and are critical. If you fear that you may not get a referral letter from your employer then you can always write to VO explaining the situation. You may write that you fear that you may lose your job if the employer comes to know about your plans to re locate to Canada. This happens all the time and a valid reason in many a cases. The VO will understand the situation. But please do provide other details of your job - payslips, taxpapers, jobduties with supporting docs, anything that would satisfy the VO about the authenticity of your on going job. Moreover, its the PA's referral letters that will be assessed more thoroughly for claiming eligibility of the application.

Authenticity and transparency is of utmost importance.

1.  No, CIC/CIO will not accept an IELTS result from the Testing organization.
2.  If you have previously applied with an IELTS result that is still valid, you mention it with a copy in a cover note.

Last year I asked for a copy of my IELTS scorecard from IDP. They refused & confirmed that if I want a copy it can be directly delivered to my Consulate after paying fees.

This shows that they had been doing it on request earlier also & it must be considered Valid.

May be CIC/CIO is not accepting this. I am not not pretty sure now.

"When all else fails, read the instructions"

From the Instructions  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf  pages 7&8

1.  Applicants are permitted to submit a copy of their language test results with a new application only if the original test results were submitted with a previous Federal Skilled Worker application and were not returned to the applicant. All copies of language test results must be accompanied by a photocopy of the refusal letter from CIC and an explanation that CIC retained and currently holds the original.

2.  Do not request that your (IELTS-General Training, CELPIP-General or TEF) language test result be sent directly to the CIO. Submit your original language proficiency test results with your complete application to the CIO.

Hello PMM,

Thanks for your advice on IELTS!! Now, what about the rest of the photo copies that are already with CIC which are still not delivered to me? Do i just send a covering letter along with fresh application form and original emploer referral letter as requested, stating all the other educationla and required dependant documents including IELTS and PCC originals are still with them which are valid for 1 year and cannot be procured again? will the CIC consider and accept my request, as they only requested for employer referral letter to be submitted in the rejection letter?

It's been 10 weeks that my dox have not yet delivered, but the PR DD has been delieverd within 2 weeks of rejection.

Please advice.
