I have applied for Canada PR and my file is in process. I have recently married. Is it necessary for my spouse to apply for Canada PR as well. What if my spouse does not plan to apply right now because she is pursuing her studies in her home country

You have to add her to your application, you can declare her as "non accompanying" but she still has to complete the forms do a medical, criminal records checks etc.

Does she need to appear for visa interview with me if I add her as non-accompanying?
