Hi, I am currently on a Federal Skilled Worker Visa and working since the last 5 months. I am going to apply for PR and have all the forms and documents ready to go. However, I am getting married in December and my fianceé from India wants to apply for a visitor visa so that she can either visit me before our wedding or come with me right after the wedding and not wait for the spouse visa. I wanted to know if there is a chance her visitor visa may get rejected if I sponsor her visitor visa.

Also, is it worthwhile for me to wait for her to come and apply for PR together. How long is current processing time under the new rules. I can't find a accurate answer on the CIC website.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
