If I apply for my wife's PR card as dependent from within Canada after she enters on a visitors visa, will she get 5 years of PR card or will the card expire the date my PR card expires?
Thanks

5 years from date of landing.  The date of the card is meaningless in the sense of maintaining PR.  You still have to reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5 year period, no matter what the expiry date of the PR card is.
