PR Card with PRK Country Code

Hello all,

I was looking at my wife's PR card and it indicates that the Country is "PRK".  If I'm not mistaken, isn't that North Korea?  My wife is South Korean so, should it not be "ROK"?

If not, I guess I have to call..

Your wife's PR Card is correct.

PRK is Peoples Republic of Korea   -   Capital Soul - South Korea .

North Korea is knows as Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea.(DPRK)  Capital is Pyongyang

However, PRK is the FIFA country code for North Korea, perhaps that's why it seems confusing
