I called and they told us that my husband´s card hasn´t been issued because they didn´t receive the information (paperwork) from the airport. (??) does this happen often? what does it mean?
The agent said to wait 3 weeks and will be sent by mail... has anyone experienced this. are we really going to receive it in the mail or is just a script and we´ll have to start the process again?

thanks

For my case, they asked me going to their office to retake the photo and fill some paper works what the officer at the airport forgot to do so.

did you have to go to immigration in your area or to main offices? we entered in Toronto and we´re currrently in NB.

do you have to take any documents with you, other than the confirmation copy?

You would most likely have to go to the office in Fredrickton and you would need your passport

My family of four landed on 26th Aug at Vancouver Intl. Airport.  So far,
I only received 3 PR cards, and I am still waiting for my son's PR card.
Any telephone number where I can call to check? Thanks

Just called CIC at 1 (888) 2422100 to check.  Choose "speak to officer" option.
Photo does not comply with requirement; need to take again.

You need your client ID(which you can find in your COPR).

There have been a lot of issues with photos for the PR card. CIC are very specific about the sizing and quality of photos and if yours does not match the specification, the PR card will be delayed.

As for losing the paperwork at landing, I believe this is not common but I have read a few threads in the past where this does happen.

You can either call CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 for your PR card or apply a travel document at the Canadian consulate in India while in India to re-enter Canada.
