After landing interview(Inland), i don't have to apply for my PR card and SIN number, right?
I was told that they will automatically send it to me in 8 weeks, but i just want to make it sure.
Thank you all!  Grin

You don't have to apply for your PR card. It will be sent to you automatically.

You must apply for your SIN (it will not be sent automatically). Application info is here:

I don't know if i misunderstood but the cic officer told me that i will receive my SIN number within 3 weeks.
He didn't mention that i have to apply for it, so i was kind of confuesed.
Thank you scylla!  Cheesy

I think you're both right. I'm pretty sure it varies from office to office if you apply there or have to go to a Service Canada.

Hi CrazyLucy, actually after the landing interview, the officer sent me to another booth for SIN number.
And i was asked to present my parents name in back home at the booth, so i thought i already applied for my SIN number there.
