Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to renew my PR card. I came to Canada in 2003 and stayed there for about 11 months and then I moved to US with my wife (she is a Canadian citizen). Now my PR card is expiring in a month. I was in Canada few days back and I applied for renewal of PR card while I was there.

Since I did not live in Canada for 730 days, I selected the option of Canadian spouse accompanying me under residency obligation, while filling the PR Card renewal form.

For the proof I provided a copy of my wife's passport and marriage certificate.

My question to experts is. Based on the above information do you think I would be able to renew my PR Card?

Right now I'm living in US with my wife and I don't think I would get the PR Card renewed before my old card is expired. How can I go back to Canada to get my new card if my old card is expired?

Thanks very much in advance.
