Qorax,

I have two quick questiion....when I landed the Immigration office told me it will take 4 months to receive the PR card..does it really take so long.....?

Now with the PR status can I apply for US visit visa now or better to wait for 6 months and then apply so that we can show more funds..though its not written rule...when will be the best time to apply for US visa.

I was already in Work Permit before I became PR and still continuing with the same job.....so looks like its safe to apply..

Thanks qorax again for the guidance.
Will they give the PR card rightaway this time or take another 6 weeks cos she will have to join her college
and can't take long leave?we will have to come back sooner.

Yes, she has to obtain a PRTD to enter Canada.
I have multiple entry tourist visa for USA.
If u r a PR u don't need anything else to enter - then that TRV is invalid anyway.
What should be the plan of action.
U enter thru your PR cards - the daughter enters vide a PRTD.

It won't be rightaway - it wouldn't be 6 weeks either... it'd take at least 2-3 weeks IMHO.
