When we enter Canada via car, and complete the process, our application to get (physical) PR card is over, and no other action is needed to get it from our side, and we get PR card at mentioned address?

Am I correct or do we need to visit any office for applying for PR Card?

The initial card with be delivery to the address you provided at landing by regular post unless there is a problem with the photo.  In case of such problem, a letter will be sent to you instead and you might need to visit the office to get the PR card.

But if there is no problem... we will get PR cards at mentioned address and we are good with that until renewal of PR Card (approx. 5 yrs) is not needed... Am I correct?

Reason why I am asking this is that, I was under impression that I need to apply for PR Card once we reach Canada (after crossing border).

You don't need to apply for PR Card separately. Once you landed you will get it automatically in your given Canadian address mail box within in 2 months approx. Rarely there are problems for photographs as Steaky mentioned.
