Pr card not recieved.Photo problem.Pls help....

Hello all,
I have landed on pearson airport on 24 june 2010 and not recieved our pr cards so we called call center and they said that there is problem with our photos.But they have not send us any notification regarding this.The call center lady said they will send it soon.We got our new photo done does anyone know where to submit or what to do in this situation?Pls help.........

Please talk to the call centre or go to the Yonge st office in toronto where you can submit your new photographs. They will send the PR card by mail in 6-8 weeks after submission in new photographs.

Ya I have talked to them and they said we will receive the intimation via mail that when we have to go to their office.We can't take the picture by ourself they will take it in their office.We have not received any letter yet.If we will not receive it after 10 nov than we have to call them again. Lets  see what happens.

I also called the immigration office because my son's PR card has not arrived yet. they said that that ID picture was not clear and that they sent me a letter which includes instructions. i really do not understand how my son's picture quality would be any different from mine or my husband's as we all went to the same photographer.

Good to see u here.Ya I don't know what happened with my photos and when they will call that is also not clear.Lets hope for the best.How is the city ottawa and Is it cheaper that toronto?I got a job offer there so want to inquire.

My situation is even worse than you, I landed with my family on 14th July and after completing the formalaties we came back. Now we got only one PR card of my youngest daughter, on checking with the call center we came to know that there is a picture problem and we need to come in person. The letter with all details will send to us as pe given address.

So now I am out of Canada and very tense what to do, I came to know that we need to make the travel documents to re-enter. So waiting for the letter for re-submission, as soon as I will get I will apply for the travel documents.

Our problem is that we have some comitment till December 2011, so very confused what to do if will go and re-submit the picture and again same problem will come than??

I hope your problem will be solve soon once you will go to their office, please up-date me as well what is happening with your card.

Hi Yumar,
They told me that I will get the letter in 11 weeks time.If you didn't get the letter in that time period then call them again.Also If you  dont want come on that day when they call u then u can come later and apply here again when u land here but u need to apply again filling all the forms and paying 50$ per application.U can come here on travel documents which u can get in canadian embassy of ur residence.

Dear all,
My situation is worst.....
Me, my wife and 2 daughters landed in Canada for the first time on 23-07-2010.
While applying the PR, we have used our relatives address.
We left Canada on 15-08-2010 and now are in Bahrain.
We were planning to go back to Canada permanently by beginning of 2012.
My relative received the PR card of myself, my wife and one daughter.
The second daughter who was just 1year at the time of landing, the PR card is not issued
Instead a letter mentioning the photo is not as per spec. (A one year old baby, it is too difficult to take a photo itself). And there is a toll free no which can be accessed only from inside Canada. There is no email to contact.
Now as per the letter we have to go in person to submit the new photo.
And it is too expensive to travel to Canada, just to submit a photo.
Can anyone help me to find an alternative method for this.

I did not receive a letter, I called and they forwarded to me the Supplementary Identification Form. I took the photo and submitted the forms.  Curious to see the answer because it is expensive to travel to Canada just for a photo.......
