Guys,
I have got my PR card and they printed wrong name on it.
I called the CIC call center and they sent me name correction kit.
Now i have to wait for 150 days for PR card to be replaced.

What is the process of name correction and how can I make it quickly processed as it was not my fault that name was printed wrong. In case I have to go outside canada, I would have to wait for so long

If you have plans to travel, include the proof when you send off the amendment form.
Is your name spelt correctly on your COPR?

Also, I believe when getting a new PR card issued with a name change, you hold onto your card until the new one is ready, then you collect the new card from the CIC office and surrender the old one.
