Hello,

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, so I apologize if this is a repeat. I have a quick question regarding PR card renewal. I am a PR card holder who is attending university outside of Canada. Due to my studies, I have been physically absent from Canada for the majority of the time that I have been a permanent resident, preventing me from satisfying the 730-day requirement. However, I am a minor and financially dependent on my parents, who live and work in Canada. Whenever I am not in school, I am at home with them. My question is this: even though I am dependent on my parents and Canada is the only home I have and where I return to whenever school is not in session, will I still lose my PR card when it comes time to renew it?

Thanks in advance for all your help.
