I'm a US Citizen, and am about to have my name legally changed in the US.  I still live in the US and intend on moving to Canada in the future.  Does anyone know if a name change certificate from the US would be legally recognized in Canada, and be sufficient for updating my name on all my Canadian documents?  Or do I need to follow a certain procedure to have my name legally changed in Canada?

A name change court order from the U.S. should be fine.
