    * Automated telephone service (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
      
    * Call Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays.

Did you called up at the callcenter to check on PR card status ?
Please let us know how was it.
I am also in same boat as you.

Also, pls share what details they asked (like COPR# etc) when you talked with them ?

hi! my card arrived last week Oct 18 according to my friend & mailed it to me 2days ago (currently im here in US) so Im just waiting for the delivery of my PR card via Canada post. Hope you will get yours soon

By the way, when did you landed in canada ? How many days it took for you to get your cards.

i know some one landed in Jan 1 2011 , at the airport they said the photos are not ok and they took new photos

in Mar 1 2011 , he got a call from CIC to re do the photos again

in Apr 2 2011 he got his pr

another one got his pr after 4 months without asking for new photos

now if u left canada before getting the pr , what are the disadvantages

Thanks! I landed last Aug 7, 2011 & got PR Card October 18, 200 9-10wks

First, the risk of losing the PR card while shipping to where your location most esp outside North America. Secondly, as what you have said if theres a photo problem, accdg to others you have to be in Canada personally to have photo taken. I dont know yet the process how to re enter...

Hoping & praying that my PR card will be in my hands within this week.. It took 9 wks & 4 days til my friend received it.
