I have a query about my PR Card applied in CANADA in
July 2011.

Before which i just want to give my case history.

We received the landing papers in early 2011 say in Jan or Feb &
the deadline for us for first entry to Canada was notified as November 2011.
But we have planned for settlement only in April 2012, hence we thought that
we could make an entry & return back in a week after we apply for SIN
& PR card. This was possible for us as my sister is residing in Toronto,
Canada.
As palnned we applied for the card in the Airport & applied
for our SIN during July 2011 (10th). We received our SIN within a months
time from our application date however we do not know our PR Card Status
& worried so much as it is nearly 120 days that we applied for the card.
And my sister whose address we have given for communication neither received
any query nor any status from the immigration department.

And to
worsen our worries we have been receing information that people who applied
a month later to us got their PR Cards, if not for all in the family atleast
one or two have received it. But in our case where my family has three
members, me my husband & my Child, for whom we applied on the same day
has not received any information.

Kindly help us. We seriously
repend for (if it was a wrong decision that we did..)
Please could you
help us know whom or where we contact to know about the Card status?
we
browsed through however we got only the Toll free no of CIC, which coul be
used only while staying inside Canada.

No worries.  If you don't get the PR cards, you can always apply travel document from the visa office of your home country and re enter Canada in April 2012.

Alternatively, you can call 1-613 number (search the forum) to call CIC for the status of your card.  Or you can ask your sister to engage a 3 way call between your sister, you and CIC toll free number.
