Which provinces do you guys stay in? It might make a day or 2 difference according to the Canada Post Delivery Standards

Processing times: Permanent Resident Card

This information is updated weekly and shows the time it takes to process an application after we receive a complete application package.

Last update: June 13, 2012

Type of application   Processing Times
New permanent residents
47 business days

Just read on the cic website they have increased the processing days from 44 to 47 days today!

My wife advised me so we booked through cheapoair in Canada. They had an amazing offer but all these cheap booking websites catch you hard when you change your booking so they quoted us $1800 for me and my family. Good I didn't pay and change since as of last month the 34 processing days have gone up to 38 then 44 and 47.

I hope these days go down when I land next month Sad
