I called today (May 17, 2012) and they said my card is "in production" and will be mailed by the end of the month! (I landed on March 23, 2012)
can't wait!
does "in production" mean I won't hear bad news of photo rejection?

I don't know if this question is directed to me, but I don't call that number. I call the mississauga number 613-944-4000 but when i select the option for CIC (which is the only option related to PR card app status check), the voice message says "we are transferring you to CIC but you can also contact them directly at 1-888-242-2100" ... so it doesn't matter in the end ... |

Hi everyone quick question. Once we have the visa, my husband is planning to come to Canada to 'land' and then he will have to return to his come country after 1 week to wrap things up there. I know we wont have the PR card by then but we can arrange to send him that once we revcieve it in Canada. MY Question is that how long does the application for PR take. I mean does he have to go multiple times for fingerprints etc or is it a one day thing where he is in an out? please let me knw it will asist with planning. THANKs |

Hello peeps, Here's my info, not that it's much...haven't received my PR card yet, but here goes  Current location: Ottawa, ON Date of Landing: 6th April, 2012 Date of PR card arrival: N/A Any problems incurred: In the middle of one at the moment  Total time of waiting: 43 days, or touching the 6 week mark. But the landing officer did tell me 6-8 weeks, so I'm going to go back to waiting impatiently |
