Hello to every one,
Landed in Toronto with my family on 12th March.Will wait for 2 months ( 12th may) before calling the call center if we dont recieve the PR card.
Just have a small query : During the landing ,on the COPR form which the immigration officer filled different things,mailing Address ( the address we provided) was written only on my ( primary applicant) COPR.On my wifes & daughters COPR they didnt write any address.Is this normal since they only mention the mailing address for the primary applicant COPR & it automatically applies to others ? Hope it is not considered as address not provided for mailing the PR card?
Don worry man..They will provide all PR cards to the same primary applicant's address. Good luck. |

I have one question, when my wife lands here, will the same last name be on her PR card as on application for immigration? or can she give my last name to the Immigration officer at the airport for the PR card? can she give a last name to be put on the PR card or it HAS to be exactly the way as on the application?
Please let me know?
Her last name in the PR card will be that in the application. |

I just wanted to know if i can change the picture that is attached to my COPR? because i think that they not process my PR card since i was smiling in the picture. Do you guys think i can ask the immigration officer if i can change the picture? is it okay if my name is written on the back of the picture?

Hello Everyone,
I landed on 16 March in Montreal, QC. I left Canada this last month to take part in my sister's wedding here in Pakistan. Now it is already about a month and half have not received my PR card on my Canada address.
1)Should I wait to receive my PR card or just to be on the safe side also apply for Landing Documents ?
2)Does anyone applied for LD from Islamabad CIC, how long it takes ?
3)Is is safe to have your PR card mailed to you through registered Canda Post mail in Pakistan ?
Please any tip from an experience person would be appreciated.

Hi Guys!!!!!!
Anyone landed in Canada Toronto pearson airport on 11th or 12th March 2012, please help me,,, I landed on 11th March, website updated as landed on 12th March,,,(hope it does not create any problem, 11th march was sunday) and today got to speak to CIC call centre agent,, she says, WAIT TILL TUESDAY, 08th May and CALL BACK.
Is this normal??? Anybody on those same arrival days got any updates? I need to travel abroad and am getting fed up of the wait for the card. Am getting worried and jittery!!!
Seniors, please advise.

Well I can finally say am official a Permanent Resident of Canada now. I did my landing interview on March,12,2012 and today I receive my PR card. Its the exact 8 weeks that the Immigration Officer told me.
