My husband landed on Dec 18, 2011 New photo & signature was requested by post on Feb 27, 2012 PR card finally arrived through the post today March 28, 2012 At last, we have finally made it across the finish line!!  |

Still waiting - I landed 26th Feb, and called CIC on Thursday to see what the deal is. She said my application was in process, but wouldn't estimate an arrival date - she said it hadn't been printed yet. Problem is I really want to go on vacation - on 14th April, but am not sure if I should risk travel without it. I'm a UK citizen, so visa-exempt, but still no one seems to be able to give me a definitive answer.

Guys,
I received my PR card finally - it was a long wait had to send my sets of pictures twice and finally after 9 months of landing I get my PR cards in my hand. What can I say the wait was excruciating but the patience paid off. All the best to all of you guys waiting for your PR.

From my understanding and my experience,you dont have to do anything special at the airport for your PR card. It will be forwarded automatically to your address. still waiting for mine..landed on 18th of March! |
