PR CARD AND VALIDITY OF FIRST ISUUED VISA QUESTION-PLS HELP.

Hi Guys,

does anyone here know how long does the first visa granted valid for? do you only have 6 months or 1yr to go to Canada?

also, can a Permanent Resident go to Canada and apply for PR Card and left Canada without it? how can that person go back without PR Card..

The validity of your PR visa will be for ONE YEAR from the date of your medical examination or the expiry of your passport, which ever is earlier.

If you plan to leave Canada before getting your PR Card, you can do that. For details please read this post.
