Hi all,

I got a quick question: I sponsored my wife and she landed some days ago. At Pearson she was not provided a form (such as IMM5456) asking for an address to send the PR card. Is the PR card going to be send to the sponsor's address (as on the landing papers) automatically or are we supposed to fill in additional papers?

Thanks!

Usually sent to the address in Canada she put down she was going to be residing at.  They would have asked her to confirm it on the papers she signed at landing, it's not a separate form.

When she landed at Pearson, they should have stapled her COPR to her passport. On that form should show your mailing address. If proper mailing address was not on the form phone CIC, give them the number off COPR and they will resend it.

Thanks for the quick info. So if the PR card will be sent to the address provided on the COPR that's fine.
