PR Applied through Consultant

Hi Freinds

One of my freind had applied for PR under FSW1 in year 2004 by some XYZ consultant.  from thereonwards the ECAS is  : We started processing your case in April 2004

He had asked many inquires to consultant to know baout his PR status. Even he had submitted full documents asked by consultant but there had been no change in  ECAS .

Is this normal with Old Applicants.

The consultant says that he will directly receive the medical request.

Can anybody help him out ?

IN PROCESS is longest stage in the processing of application. Your friend can get medical / more info request from visa office. I cant tell you in how much time it will take to get medicals cause you have not mentioned his visa office. Some visa offices are dealing with 2003-04 files and some are dealing with 2007-08 files.
