Hi All,

I am a Post-Doctoral Fellow on a work permit in Montreal from October 2009 onwards till September 2012. I am planning to apply for the Permanent Residence. Do I qualify for the fast track skilled worker? I am learning French, so it would be helpful I think.

My question is, my wife is in India doing Phd. When I apply for PR, she will be as spouse. Would she need to apply in India? Or is everything ok with my application. Please help anyone who has any idea.

Thank you in advance,

Budha

You can do the self-assessment here: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/epi.html

When you apply, you will include your wife in your application.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I checked and I can apply.

One question: what is family register? I have all other documents except this. I am from India, and I think I have not come across such a document in India. Maybe I am wrong. Any advice.

Thanks

Budha
