My passport reached LA on Feb 29. Last week I sent them an email and Monday this week a case specific requiry to LA ( I specifically need my passport for something). They replied me hours later, and sent my passport back the next day.

No I have not received anything, not change in my status.
Good luck to you.. it is nerve wrecking waiting for it.
BTW, I just sent a case specific enquiry like Jasminezxm suggested.

I need my passport back real soon. Had sent them a case specific inquiry and a fax too. I am hoping for the best.

Friends,

Had anyone heard back from LA VO? They not responded to any of my requests. I badly need my passports back by this Friday. I am not sure why they are so insensitive to my requests/mails Sad

Ask jasmine which way she contacted LA. Maybe she tried a different way given she got a reply extremely fast

 Hello everyone,

Has anyone that got transfered around my date (Jan 5, 2012) got any news from LA or ecas change? I am wondering if they will treat post june applicants different?  Huh Anyways I am hoping this is my week

Had any one heard back from LA VO? Another week passed by without any change in my status. They had not yet returned my passports too Sad.

My ECas status has changed to "Decision Made" this morning. So, I am made to believe that LA VO is working on my application. I am not sure when they will mail my passports though. I needed my passports by end of this week, but making some alternate arrangements Thanks to LA VO Sad.

ErikVirgo - did you hear back from LA VO at all?

Looks like there are other folks waiting eagerly for their passports from LA VO. I saw a thread on the same at trackitt too.

How long does it take to get my passports back?

Friends,

A small update from my side for the people waiting for the passports from LAVO - Last night I finally got a reply back from LA VO. The mail stated that they had returned my passports with VISA and gave me the tracking number too.

 Shocked Congrats!!! Did your ecas change? Next will be PPR wich takes 1-2 months after they receive your medicals
