I think bonny u should wait for this coming tuesday and then go to mp regarding ur query....coz ur file gt transferred after 5 daz frm me and i received my medical on this monday 30th jan....
Yes, I think it's all about waiting....and from what I have seen every file/case is different. So no prediction can be made. There's nothing one can do until the VO asks to. But from the trend it seems to me that LA is trying hard to work on the files. Will let you guys know if/when I hear anything from LA. Thanks for your supports. Bonny |

Well, I am not sure! If you check K3's timeline, his and my files were transferred to LA on the same day (8 November, 2011), although they started processing my file 5 days later than K3's. Now K3 has already received MR on 30 January. So whatever that means... Bonny |

Guys need info on this. Got my PPR yesterday. I live in Canada but i am visiting usa from last friday. so i was thinking of going in person to LA but they asked me for PP, 2 Photos and RPRF and I don't know if i can take a money order or bank draft from USA itself in USA dollars. Can anyone please help me on this.
Spartan, I think you can go to any bank and tell them you would like to purchase a money order/bank draft. They probably charge you 5 dollars for it or something... |

I returned my passport on the 19th also and it was delivered the morning of the 20th. I am hoping that they will not hold our passports until April, and that the short time between the receipt of my medical exam by Ottawa and issuance of my PPR are indicative of swift progress at LA. Last year's problem of passports being held until April seems to have been related to visa quotas so again, fingers crossed this doesn't happen again this year. I'm FSW2 with Arranged Employment. How about the other people in the same situation? I deliberately haven't contacted LA as skFSW has already done so. Let's hope we get word from them soon. |

As far as I am aware: COPR, letter from your employer and proof of address. I'll be bringing bank statements to show my employment as source of income, just in case. |
