Guys,

In my opinion the Canadian Government introduced the new barcoded IMM008 form in July 2011 to make the data capture faster and easier. (The CAIPS note wont need to be built by retyping all of the application form, but a special camera can be used to photograph the barcodes and the whole IMM008 form can be transferred electronically). Four months down the line it is my opinion that AOR should be faster hence the electronic medicals invitation notice. But with the last quarter processing time update on 27th Oct 2011 on the CIC website most processing times seems  to have been reviewed upwards.

Can you good people please share your  experience vis-a-vis your time lines after PR submission with the new barcoded form   and whether it is faster or not than the applications with the old forms?

Regards

Really cant understand why its taking this long as well, I submitted my application with the Barcoded form in August and up till now no AOR...........so it seems the introduction of the Bar coded form has not yielded and changes asuch.
