Hello. Was wondering if anyone could help.

My visa just got approved.  I live with my spouse and work in the U.S. I plan to go through the port of entry, receive my PR and come back to the U.S. to work.  Will the time spent in the U.S. after I come back count towards my PR as well as citizenship?

1.  Not for citizenship
2.  Not for PR unless your spouse is a Canadian citizen.
