PR and GC

Hi PMM,
 I am on H1 visa in US. I have applied for both GC and Canadian PR and looks like i will be getting both at the same time.
 DO you foresee any issues if I recieve both at the same time and accept both?
 How can  i keep both my GC and PR ? Main reason i applied for PR is so I can sponsor my parents to Canada. Is there a way I can do that while i am on GC in US and maintain PR in Canada?

You can't maintain them both, you have to be resident in Canada to sponsor your parents and you have to show employment funds from Canada to meet the Low Income Cutoff figure before you can sponsor.
