hello folks

I am pleased to have received requests for medical and RPRF payment recently.

However I am unclear because of the following reasons and would like some advise...

I have recently obtained UK ILR/permanent residency and so will be eligible for naturalisation/british citizenship in 12 months time.
I will manage to travel to Canada subject to my PR status confirmed before I apply for the british citizenship as this will activate the Canadian PR after landing.
However once I get the british citizenship, I will need to give up the indian passport and apply for the OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).

My queries:
1. Will having a canadian PR affect my british citizenship application?
2. Once I manage to get the british passport, my current Indian passport will go invalid which will have the Canadian PR stamping. In this case, will my Canadian PR gets invalid?
3.Is there a way to transfer the Canadian PR stamping from the Indian passport to the British passport? or Should I transfer the Canadian PR from the Indian passport to OCI when submitted to the Indian Consulate?
4. Do I need to inform Canadian Immigration Office of my change of citizenship?

thanks
