First I wanted to let you know that my husband got his ppr from Paris today!!!!  I have a question for you have an appeal date already. I have a question for you:  I wanted to know if you have any idea if he can go to Paris to pick it up ( I don t know if he will get a visa ) can he get a visa just for that for 2 days?  or if he can send the passeport to someone therew and how? The visa will be issued in 2 days if he can get the passeport to the consulate. Do you know of anybody getting the visa in Paris? Thank you in advance.

Hi there.  I sponsored my Algerian husband using the Paris office.  When he was approved I flew first to Tunisia to meet up with him and took his passport to Paris.  We did need to fill out a form to say that he allowed me to take his passport and have the visa placed inside it.  I then took it to the embassy and waited 2 days to go and pick it up again and then off to Tunisia I went.  It was easy and I had no problems at all.

Immigration should be sending him a letter that let's him know his options. He can send it via UPS too.  Or take it in person (but he needs a visa for that).  The only reason I went to Paris myself was because my husbands medical was about to expire and there was no way I was going to let that happen!
