Hello
Just got our PPR and I'm hoping someone can help with a couple of questions.

1)  On the Updated Information Chart, I am the applicant, so I fill out that bit.  But does my partner fill out the 'Spouse or Partner' section?  Maybe that is a silly question, but I thought because she is Canadian and my sponsor, she might not have to.

2) For the two visa photos, I have the same photos I used for my medical.  It asks for single weight matte paper.  Would 170g matte photo paper be OK?  For the medical photos I used glossy paper.

Thank you again

Hey,
You are right, your canadian partner does not need to fill out the info on the form.
For the photos, I dont know. I used the same place that did my medical photos, I have no clue whether they were single weight matte, glossy, whatever. I just handed them the photo specification forms. I didnt have any problems though!
Good luck, and congrats again!

Congrats on the PPR, I wish my VISA office was that fast too Smiley Have a great life ahead! I believe the specification for med photos are different than the VISA photos you might want to check with the studio on that before sending the med photos, and yes you only fill out your information not your spouse since you spouse is your sponsor...

Yeah we took our own photos up until the 2 with our PPR because I heard these were the the photographs they are most strict with.

We thought just to be safe we would get them done professionally. We just took the spec sheet to walmart and got them done for about $15, she said they did them all the time there which put my mind at rest - they are definately on matte paper but other than that I couldnt say.

Thanks.  Unfortunately I live on a little island at the moment and we don't have any shops to get photos done.
Hopefully mine are acceptable.  I followed the photographers instructions in the PPR letter.
We'll soon find out anyway!
