Hi all,

I have been browsing the forums to find out an answer to the many complications in my case. it would be great if you guys can guide me.
First off, they had sent us med request in Dec 2010, it was completed and sent in Jan 2011. they also asked for RPRF and we paid and received receipt in Jan 2010. So we are waiting for our PPR for a while now.

 1. Also please note that none of this info, med request onwards is updated in eCAS. it still only shows In Process and the details do not contain this info. Is this right?

Secondly, we received a phone call from Delhi VO couple of days back. First he asked why we did not submit PP along with meds. We told him that it was not asked. So he then asked us to send the passports to him immediately. This is very strange. Because as mentioned above eCAS is not updated, we do not know what the deadline is to send the PP, we have no written communication regarding PPR and to make matters worse 2 of the 4 applicants in this case are in Canada on study permits. so to send their passports they have to either go back or find a person to carry it back for them.

 2. what do you think about this phone call PPR? any other cases like this?
 3. how long do you think we have to submit the PP(deadline)?
 4. Since we didnt get a letter we also have no clue as to what else must be submitted along with the PP?
 5. How do we proceed? wait for the letter? send PPs ASAP? ask for extension? something else?

Please help us out.. any response is greatly appreciated.

1.) For New Delhi CHC they always ask for the PP with medicals. Yours is first case I have seen in last 18 months where PP were not asked along with Medicals. ECAS is a high level indicator and will not reflect status like medical requested, PP requested. It will now just move to decision made
2.) This is a unique case and I am surprised
3.) At the earliest possible. Were you given any deadline by VO. generally deadline is 45 days from date of medical and PPR letter.
4.) You need to submit PP and RPRF (right to permanent residence fee)
5.) Since you already got a call, VO will update their records that you are aware of PP request no point in waiting for letter. Send the PP ASAP and for some reason if you cannot ask for extension

thank you for the quick reply. we also think that this could have been a mistake from their end in not sending PPR along with meds. We have already paid RPRF and we also received a receipt of the same from the CHC. The biggest concern now really, is the deadline to submit PP. Since we only got a phone call it wasn't clear how long we had. And time is sort of an issue because 2 PPs need to get back to India first and then to VO. This seems like it will take 2 weeks to set up but we are concerned if it will be too late by then...

Write to new delhi CHC explain your situation and ask for 3-4 weeks time to submit the PP

No, Buffalo VO will send you Medical request first, after review and study your medical result, Buffalo will send you RPRF request.
Buffalo always send first medical then RPRF request. so dont send any documents without buffalo instruction.

VO ND has outsourced some services. But the call for passports has to be from the VO. Missing a call won't have any impact on your case. If it is important they will call again.

The easy way to check who called you..

Just Google the number, and if you don't get the name you will get the clue...

Thanks

New Delhi VO number is 4178 2000. Their other numbers also start with 4178.....They have outsourced "Visitor Visas" only to VFS.
