I applied through the buffalo office and I got the PPR about a week ago.  There were a few options for sending the passport by mail.  One is to send it to Buffalo if you live in the United States.  Or to Fort Erie,ON if you live in canada.  I sent the passport to Fort Erie, ON.  Since i'm assuming all the paperwork in in Buffalo, how long does it take for the passport to return to us from Fort Erie?

It varies, but most people say it takes about 2 weeks or so. You may want to peek into the Buffalo thread and look through the last few pages or so; some people have recently mailed theirs and their timelines may give you a better idea.
