Read through the sticky notes available here. You wont require a consultant unless you have a complicated application. Good luck.

Do not use a consultant. The whole process is as easy as creating a few Email ID’s. Ok, I might have exaggerated a bit, but still, you will be paying consultants only to create an Email ID.

Carter hoppe legal in alkarama.
I know few people who hired them few years back. I was planning to use them then i decided to do on my own.
If you have alot of time to research the process online and espically herw in this forum as well as ircc website then you can do on your own unless as mentioned above you have complicated case.

Carter hoppe will take you only if they know you can get the PR as they rejecred a friend of mine who they say had no hopes to get the visa.. As they get 50% advance and the other 50 after PR

I am from Dubai. Please don't waste your money and you chances of getting PR with a consultant. Even with a consultant, you will be doing everything yourself including WES, IELTS etc. You are paying them 10,000 to 20,000 AED to just fill a form!

If you can spare 30 minutes everyday and read up the stickies in the forum and all major threads on this forum, in 3 weeks, you will know more than ANY consultant in the UAE. I know friends who went to consultants who are kicking themselves for the waste of money and also the misinformation given by consultants with half baked information. Even if you are ready to let go of the money, what about the misguidance? Many of the consultants don't even have proper accurate information! Your case will be handled by some junior rookie who is just going by what he has been trained. And that same information is right here in the stickies! However, this forum is a wealth of information and EVERY ANSWER to ANY QUERY is available on this forum. 90% of the consultants don't even have these answers!

Many of us started as you. No one here was born with Canada immigration knowledge. However 90% of the people here including me did it ourselves and have successfully got PR. All the best!

However, if you need a proper consultant, please go to one of the IRCC certified ones. Most of the ones in the UAE are not IRCC recognized. I would recommend Campell Cohen who are based in Canada. At Least with them, you know you are getting a proper consultant and not someone pretending to be one!

Hi,

i did everything on my own. I am still 25. No relatives in Canada. No agency or consultants involved. I just made use of anything online to answer my questions and proceed with my EE application. The journey is more fulfilling when done by yourself without any help from agencies/consultants. Here is my timeline.

Stream: FSW - Outland

Aug 23: ITA
Sep 06: AOR
Sep 06: BG-IP
Sep 18: Meds Passed
Sep 19: BG-IP1
Sep 20: BG-NA1

Experts in this forum predicted that I might get my PPR next week. This means only 19 days from AOR to PPR.

Run as fast as you can from UAE immigration agance, They are all out there to take money from you. May be 1 out of 100 is good. They took our 15,000 and did nothing
We met them when we haven't discovered this forum. They can lie and say all sorts of thing just to get money out of you. After paying them, they sent so many forms just like the one you will end up filling online. We filled everything and then comes the stories. They refuse to create express entry account for us. Each time we call them they will ask if we have filled the forms. We sent emails but nothing. They said that the person that is responsible for our application will call us for more then 3 weeks Until we decided to cancel. We have applied for PR now, did everything on our own.
Still battling with our refund

So save the money for proof of funds or Landing.
Good luck

To start, check your eligibility. Assuming you don't have Canadian work experience, you'll likely be trying to apply under the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) programme:

DOCUMENTS YOU NEED TO START (ONCE YOU CONFIRM ELIGIBILITY)
Once you calculate your score, you need to get an Educational Credential Assessment (see link below for approved institutions) and take an approved English language test (IELTS/CELPIP) (see link below):

Once you have your ECA and your English Language Test Results, you need to create a myCIC account, and then create and submit your Express Entry Profile. The best way to get to this point is to start with the Come To Canada tool (see below) as that will check your eligibility again, before providing you with a number that will help you carry over your answers into your profile, and then direct you to the part of the website where you can create your account:
FYI, I fully agree with everyone else about using consultants - most of the time, they appear to be almost useless, or make your process more complicated (by giving you incorrect information or preventing you from accessing your own account by keeping the password to themselves - ridiculous!). And I doubt a consultant would have been able to help you with your work experience letter problem. Other members of this forum have had the same issue - if your employer is refusing to give you a letter, you will have to go the route of asking a colleague to provide a letter for you (outlining all the details IRCC asks for) on blank paper (not company letterhead as they wouldn't be authorized to do that) and then getting it notarized. You also want to attach other proof of the work experience (maybe your initial offer letter/contract of employment, and pay slips), and, if you can get it, documented evidence that your employer refused to give you the letter (perhaps get them to refuse you in an email, and then print that). Nothing you can't get around without the help of a consultant.

If you have 3 years experience in where you are working now, you can use it and add the one that they refused to give you to personal history with LOE when applying for PR. The maximum is 3 years outside canada and 5 years inside canada.

The game changer is IELTS. Try to get maximum points if you can.

Best of luck
