After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

I did my medicals and got acknowledgement that I passed on 18 August 2017, subsequently sent the requested passport Biodata page, Height and eye colour to CIC. Since then I have not them, can anyone share experinece

Hello everyone.
I submitted my passport and recieved by CIC on August 1st! Has anyone recieved their passport around this time? Im still waiting for mine i called CIC and spoke to one of the agent and he said that my passport has been sent for printing.. How long does it usually take to do this.. Guys! This is taking so looong!!

This could take between 2 - 9weeks.

What you mean by you sent the passport biodata page after getting acknowledged for medical?

just follow the instructions
it is up to you
in my case, no e-mail requested
PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS

1. Passport(s) OR photocopy(ies) of passport(s), as explained in Step 2.

2. Two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member. See our specifications at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

3. One pre-paid return envelope so that we can return your passport(s) and Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents. See Step 4 for instructions regarding the return envelope.

4. The completed and signed Annex A listing your current mailing address.

Don't think so. Documents have your application number

Any idea how are the processings times look like now in Ontario. They received our passportd and documents on September 12th and no news after that? Also, cic account also not updated. I sent couple emails to them and received response, current volume is high and no estimated time when passporys be returned.

This wait is killing !!

On other hand one of our friend submitted passport from Neitherland (to local vfs office for austria) and received back evrything in 10 days.

Whats your status?? Please include date CIC received passport? Date you received back or still waiting?

My passport was received by CIC Ottawa in July 28 (2 months ago!) and yet no response. When contacted, all they have to say is that the passports were received and current volume is too high.

Not really. It was from Canada as I'm currently with a temporary Visa in BC

I received the request to send my passport, photographs, prepaid envelope and Annex A form. I have sent it on Sep 25th and have been waiting for it now. Does anyone know the timeline so far. Any kind of time line will be really helpful. I am currently in US and sent to Ottawa.

What i read online, it can be between 2-9 weeks before you receive passports back
