How to claim a refugee status?

Hello I want to know the answer to these questions beforehand.
1-when I tell the officer or the police that I want to make a refugee claim, will this statement be enough (I want to make a refugee claim because my life is in danger in my home country) let's say I don't want to provide more detail until I have a lawyer present because I don't want to make mistakes.
2-can I have a lawyer to assist me while filling the refugee form?
I appreciate your help thanks

You will have an eligibility interview with CBSA on arrival to determine if you are eligible to claim refugee status and to set a hearing date if you are. They will ask for details about your claim. Simply stating you want to be a refugee is unlikely to convince them you are eligible. I don't know if you can have a lawyer present during the interview. As an aside, you may be identified as a Designated Foreign National if you enter the country with falsified documents as you have previously posted.

Thanks for the quick reply
I will provide the details no doubt but I want to do so with the presence of a lawyer.

Do you have a visa approved yet to even travel to Canada? You need to worry about this first before thinking about claiming refugee status here. If you can't get a visa, you can't claim asylum here.

There seems to be some confusion here. First do you have a travel via to Canada? Once you hit customs or a Border service agent (border police) tell them you want to claim asylum. You will be taken for a quick screening. The screening is more to determine that you will not be a danger to D
Canadians. Then you will probably be released to family member or charity organization for temporary lodging. Then you will meet with a settlement agency to help you file for asylum. They will help you get in touch with a lawyer (if possible). You then start preparing your case. Your 1st appointment with thr IRB 2 months after you arrive will be rescheduled. I believe it takes 6 months-1 years to get an appointment to present your evidence to see if you get asylum. You will then get notification of the results. Based on your questions just wanted to make sure that you didn't think that the 1st interview at the border decides if you are a refugee. It is a much longer process.

Do you have a TRV issued by the Canadian Embassy?

Thanks, I already applied for visa from canadain embassy and I am still waiting for the approval or denial.
I already know that I should get a TRV in order to get inside canada, I just wanted to know the answers to these questions because I don't want to make mistakes, I want to be prepared for everything.

Thank, before I file for asylum with the help of the settlement agency, do I to tell more details than (I want to make a refugee claim because my life is in danger in my home country) to the border police? Because as far as I know anything you say to the border agent will will be recorded, so it's easy to make mistakes.

If you tell the truth then you don't need to worry about making mistakes. You won't have to think of what to say if it's all 100% honest.

you're right, I'm saying that because even if you tell 100% truth, you may still encounter problems, there are reports saying that people being honest 100% and their claim backed up by true evidence and still had issues and that their hearing has been postponed, on the other hand there are also people who didn't even offer any evidence and they have been accepted.
I have one question, if I don't have the evidence with me at the time of the hearing, is there a chance that my claim would be accepted?

Not likely to be, no. Why would your claim be accepted just on your say so? You need to provide evidence of your claims.
