I think ours was about 1/3 to half that size as well.  Grin Shocked.

Oh well, hopefully we all get the prize at the end, no matter the size of our application package.

Whether the package is large or small, I think quality is the key.  We all achieve that in different ways.  Wink

Don't know how many pages - 5 pounds. Didn't even include half of what evidence we actually have...

And shame on those saying large applications hold things up, so do small ones! When the IO has to try and decipher the lack of information or having to request more documents. Fact is, big or small, all applications hold things up. Come on, guys! That's just silly.

And 10 pages or 1,000 pages won't make a difference in the end, it's quality. I wish everyone the absolute best of luck.  Smiley

1000 pages take no more time to assess than 10 pages??!!  Surely not. If you can make your case -- i.e. make it easy for the VO to approve your application -- in 10 pages, surely it would take less time for the VO to assess that application than a 1000 pager.

Yes, if there are holes or documents missing from the 10-pager, that wastes the VO's time.  But all things being equal, both applications being complete, less is more.

Well I am a rookie so I am going to follow you guys, get my binder clips ready and clear 3 weeks off my calendar to work on my application:-) The Devil is in the Details... Wink BTW is this your initial submitall after you were approved to sponsor your spouse or do you send in the entire "kitchen sink" from the onset?

Thanks

This has to be the coolest thread in the forum.... I can see very neat packages here. Mine was able to fit on an envelope...
You guys must get landed for sure!. Awesome work and indeed no wonder CIC moves slow with so much volume on the applications...
Leave it to the fighting irish, in a good way of course.
Good luck to everybody, regardless the weight of their package.
