I received email from CIO informing me that I have a positive final eligibility review.......... i.e I received my 1st PER/AOR. What will be the next step? Is Visa Office going to contact me and ask for more documents, OR I have to send the documents now, without them asking for it?
Please drop few words of experience.

Visa office will now contact you if they need any additional document , since you have already sent the full docs so you dont need to send anything now just wait for visa office to contact you.

I just have a question. Under Post 26 June rules, once CIO issues positive final eligibility review....what will happen that? CIO will transfer the file to VO then what will be the role of VO? Will they do some eleigibility review as well or will they do only security checks, document checks and medicals etc? Like Pre-26 June, Final Elegibility review is under VO responsibility, whats VO rule now in new case?
One of my friend got positive review. But he didnt send any document in original. He sent copies of all...like PCC, Transcripts, Marriage Certificate, Birth certificate, Bank statement...everything copy not original....what will be next step for him?
Please share ur views.

His next step will be like mine. Wait wait and wait. VO will contact again with further information. Must probably they will ask for his medical. But no one knows for sure. Cheers. This Post 6/26 thing is very frustrating as no one know what exactly will happen. I just wish that CIO/CIC can post some more detail regarding its processing process.

Did you send PCC to CIO? The validity lasts only three months. VO might ask a new PCC in case you have waited for more than three months. |

Did you send PCC to CIO? The validity lasts only three months. VO might ask a new PCC in case you have waited for more than three months.
No, I did not send PCC to CIO because at that time it was clearly mentioned not to send PCC with application. So I reapplied it again. It will take 3 months to get PCC from FBI. And it is valid for 3 more months. I.E 3 + 3 more months. Hopefully we will hear something from VO by then. Keeping my fingers crossed. |

Hi received my first AOR on 25th Jan 2011. I guess the waiting period is what everyone is clueless about Victor, congrats for getting the visa  that sounds awesome specially that u didn't have to wait so long actually we filed our application on 14 Nov 2010; & on 07 June 2011 we got the final PER; after we requested CIO for reassessment due to some calculations errors in the assessment whereas I was found illegible at the beginning .. Glad that it is solved now.. am waiting for London Visa office for further instructions.. Can I ask you when you got your file Number & from where you got it? was it from CIO or from VO? furthermore, what is exactly the role of VO & will the contact us via email or BO Box? Thanks |
