Hi there

First of all thank you for your attention.

I am planning to go to Canada in March to study English. I am planning to hire the services of an English school for no more than 3 months, because I cannot afford more than that. However, if I could work part time, I could stay longer, for 6 months.

So my question is:

As far as I know, I don't have to apply for a student permit, since I am not planning to study in Canada form more than 6 months. During this period, can I apply for a temporary work permit?

I understand that I need to have a job offer, but if I have one, can I apply and succeed?

Thank you very much for your kind attention and help.

Best,

Andre
