hi ive been working for almost 3 months now in a low skilled position, i was just wondering if i can quit the work i have if i get a LMO from a skilled position.. is it possible if get a skilled work and be hired and get my LMO processed and after all this is done i could quit the job i have now and start my new work as a skilled worker for me to be able to apply for PR after 6 months of working as a skilled worker.. thank you to all the people who will share their thoughts on this question i have..

Yes, if you get an LMO for a skilled job and apply to change your work permit, when your work permit change goes through, you quit your old job and start your new job.  After that, you can apply for residency under PNP depending on your province, a skilled worker normally does not have to work 6 months to apply for PNP or you can apply for FSW after you are in Canada one year or you can apply under CEC after being on a skilled work permit for two years.
