I have had a positive outcome from my online assessment however my co-habiting partner was declined.  We have a child together and have been in a relationship for eight years.  However, we are not married.  What is our position?

Assuming that you are a common/law couple have lived together at least one year, then you apply apply as the principal applicant and your partner as a dependent spouse.
