Gratz, confusednscared, it is very nice that you go back to Canada again.
i have some questions too,
I've been given an exclusion order due to overstaying my visa, the removel order will exprie in next april.
My outland sponsorship interview ( @ Office BeiJing, China) was on 13 Sep, at the end VO said: i trust you have a genuine marriage, but you are under a removel order so i can't give you the visa today, I have to speak with the programer manager, if he trusts it too, we can start to process it. Then she made a phone call to ask if someone needs an ARC to go back, can she keep the passport. then she kept my passport. she said she would contact me through e-mail or phone calls.
So what you think is gonna happen next? Will the program manager only decide the ARC process or he/she can override the whole result of the interview to refuse my sponsorship application? Is there a request (what kind, form? payment requirement?) for ARC after the interview?

Hi Everyone,
Hubby got email from his MP. Quick response inquiring about my immigration file at POS. However, it wasn't the response we were hoping for. Due to the mere fact that POS has processing times up to 14 months, I should basically sit tight and wait until May of 2012.
What we inquired about was specifically the status of my file and no attempts of the POS office to contact us or update E-Cas after multiple inquiries. We definitely didn't get that.
That just tells me, I have to do my medicals and one police clearance over. If by December, still no word, I'll do it then.
Here's to a week of updates.....Cheers!

Hi POS Group..I'm new to this forum..I have been reading a lot of what you guys wrote before I actually joined. I'm so nervous..My hubby and I did our applicaton while I was there for holidays. It was so much work and very stressful.
A little about us..My hubby and I met online through Facebook..we met in person couple months after when he came home for xmas in 2009...we got married the following year. I hope this will not be held against us by the VO...we knew were in love and wanted to get married..We use to have long discussions about what we both wanted together.
It pains me when I have to leave him there and come back home. Well hopefully now that the paperwork is done and being sent off. POS will work fast.
