Good morning all...  Two weeks ago today hubbys medical redo was sent to POS, hoping for some news real soon!! Been very quiet here lately. Good luck everyone...we need to light a fire under their behinds and reunite some familes whether its through this office or to assist the Kingston JA thread people that are waiting too. |

it is as quiet in here as it has been in trinidad after 9pm.....no one has any news? .....we need some more positive coming out of POS and soon...people need to be with their families. and they cant blame it on the curfew on set backs becuz their offices open and close way after effected time.....come on

Hello linds...only thing I can suggest is go in calm and well prepared. Just remember they can only ask you things they know the answers to lol. So hopefully you have a copy of you application and all the paperwork and questionaires you and your spouse did. Review those and specific family occasions, dates of meetings, dates and outings the two of you have had. My husbands was only about 20 mins and he felt very relaxed there. Good luck!! |

Well linds some advice I've seen to too be prepared for questions regarding any abnormality in your case, eg short period of time from first meeting to marriage. Previous relationships, if there are kids involved, how your parents feel about your relationship etc.

Congrats to those who have come to an end of this journey. It surely gives the rest of us hope. I sent POS an email inquiring about my PR application August 8 and haven't heard back from them as yet. I also sent a msg through the CIC website sometime in July and no word. My medicals have expired. I will only redo that if i get word from them. As of right now, I will only redo my police certificates. This immigration process is taking a toll on me....Smh  |

yw POS and KGN is weird alike if you want you can redo meds as requesting PCC is a good sign so if funds permit it might be a good idea to do meds if not you can wait for the request its weird they do not send the request for both same time to cut down on time but it seems anything to prolong the inevitable
