Hi,

I need help regarding police verfication.

I am staying in noida whereas my Hometown is in  Haryana. I can get my police verification from my hometown.

But my spouse is from Punjab. her passport was issued from chandigarh. and her passport shows permanent address as punjab address.
so pls tell from which city her police verification wud be done?

I have the same query.

My passport is from New Delhi and my husbands PPT is from Bareilly. But we are staing in New Delhi. So from where my husband woudl get PC Certificate.

Seniors plz reply.

CHC will require a police clearance from each 'country' you have lived in and not each 'city'. You can get it from the regional passport office (wherever there is one) or from your local copshed.

You need to get police clearance from the place where you are currently residing for the past few years. All the CIC wants to see is the current clearance certificate. You could be born in South Africa but residing in India, yet they will not ask for SA police clearance if you lived there for less than 6 months. So get the latest one.
