I read in many threads that pcc is required with initial application to CIC post 06/26 but in the checklist it is mentioned that you need not to send pcc now. I sent all documents in October 2010 and my credit card was charged on 03 Nov 2010. How much timeframe would VO give to obtain pcc post 06/26? And, does it make any possibility of getting NER even after my credit card has been charged? (I am thinking this way because I didn't submit pcc with initial application.) I am confused by so many postings on pcc.

hi,
I am also post june 2010 applicant and submitted my application to CIO on 15th OCT. likewise you i didn't send my PCC since it was directly inhibited in VO checklist during that time.
Now, regarding the NER i must opine that there is a chance that applicants can get NER after encashment. Recently one member got refused since his job description didn't match with NOC occupational structure! Another member got refused after encashment due to insufficient points. Hope this will not going to happen to us who havn't got our PER yet.
Now, VO gave 120 days timeframe to Pre june 2010 applicants for submitting their docs. Maybe we (post june 2010 applicants) will be given same timeframe for submitting our PCC.

regards,
Dr.Hasib

Dr. Hasib,

I agree with you. CIC would check for points and job description as per NOC. I already checked points and all job descriptions were as per NOC. I don't think there is a chance of getting NER. But I am more concerned about PCC as in India it takes 3-4 months to get PCC.

It seems there is no clarity about the rules post 06/26. Sometimes I see 06/26 as 09/11 where many occupations were removed from NOC.   Grin
