My Common Law partner must go to the NBI (Philippines) for her Police Clearance.

We are applying to Canadian Immigration with her married name, which is in her passport.
And we'd suspect she should apply for her police clearance with her married name.

(She is currently legally married as divorce is illegal in The Philippines)

However she's only had her married name for 1.5 years, so there's not much history there.

Her maiden name would be for the previous years of her life.
We were just wondering which name she should apply under. We're concerned if she uses her married name it the police clearance doesn't go back far enough, but if she uses her maiden name it's not current.

btw.....with everything else such as our joint rental home receipts, etc she uses her maiden name as she does not consider herself married and prefers not to use that name.

The name that matches the passport she will be submitting with the application.
