Police Clearance Certificates

Dear Friends,
I have submitted my application for Canadian Immigration only recently while in Kuwait at present. I  am still  awaiting the file number from the CHC.
I have been told by my lawyer to arrange the Police Clearance Certificates from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and India.
I have the following questions:-

1. Do I need to wait for any kind of an official document from the CHC which will be like an instruction to the concerned authorities to issue the Police Clearance Certificate?

2. Can I start processing it right away and submit it as soon as the file number is received?

3. How should I arrange the PCC from Saudi Arabia from Kuwait?

4. How should I arrange the PCC from UAE from Kuwait?

Kindly help me as soon as possible.

What's ur nationlity?

As per my knowledge, it is better to apply for PCC after u receive ur first AOR (file number). I feel better if u could use an agency for getting ur PCC from KSA and UAE. If u r an indian u would get Indian PCC from Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

Go through Canadian Immigration website,check for subtitle GET POLICE CERTIFICATE at bottom right-hand side of the home page,you will get sufficient information you need to get Police certificate from the various countries you mentioned.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I am an Indian national.
Will the Canadian High Commission give some sort of a paper for the various embassies separately demanding the Police Clearance Certificates?
I enquired with the Kuwait Police Department and they said that there should be an official paper from the Canadian People asking for the Police Clearance Certificates without which they will not issue me the PCC on my request alone.

Please let me know whether I will be provided with some instruction to the various embassies or no?

To get a Kuwait Police Clearance, you need to go to the Canadian embassy in Daiya and go to the reception and they give you the request letter already sealed by the ambassador... It will take you a minute only.. Then you need to fill in your details and go to Criminal Investigation Department in Dajeej and submit this paper to them. They will take your finger prints and biometric eye scan and ask you to come after 10 days to collect PCC.

For Indian Police Clearance, go to the processing center of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait City... The one they outsourced out to... and request for the same.. If your passport was issued in Kuwait, you'll get it in a weeks time.. Otherwise longer...

You don't need to pay any fees for Kuwait pcc, but for Indian yes!

Plz give me detail regarding PCC as CIC posted my PCC letter yesterday will recive by next week, secondly i have done my fingerprints in aprail2011 do i need to do it again 9i have copy of it)

Dear Purpul,
The fingerprints issued by Kuwait Ministry of Interior is valid only for a period of three months from the date of issue of the Good Conduct Certificate.
So, I feel you have to do it all over again. Sorry, but all the best.
